Farah Champsi

Farah Champsi is an advisor to Population Health Partners and has worked with the company since 2021.
Since 2000, she was at Alta Partners and Interwest Partners as a Managing Director and General Partner. Farah has raised over $1 billion in venture funds and served as a board member of 14 public and private companies and led investments in many premier biotechnology companies, including Kite Pharma (acquired by Gilead for $11.9 billion in 2017).
Prior to Alta, Farah was a senior investment banker at Robertson Stephens & Company between 1987 and 1999 where she focused on biotechnology and other life sciences companies. During that time, she was responsible for building one of the most successful life sciences investment banking franchises on Wall Street.
Farah holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College. She is currently a Trustee of Smith College and is on the board of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.
